Hartsdown Leisure Centre at Margate

Pool

The pool length at Hartsdown Leisure Centre is 25m, 6 lanes with anti‐turbulence lane ropes. The pool depth at the deep end will be 2m.

Electronic placing and timing will be in operation.

An area will be assigned on poolside for each of the competing teams. A sign will be located on poolside to indicate this assigned position.

Warm‐up is scheduled to start at the advertised time.

Access

The changing rooms will be available from 2.15 pm, warm up is at 3.00 pm and the gala will start at 3.30 pm.

Parking

There is ample parking outside the centre. And it’s free.

Backstroke Ledges

These are not available.

Personal possessions and articles should not be left unattended – Bags can be taken on to poolside.

Spectators

There is a large viewing gallery at Hartsdown so please encourage as many of your parents to come along and make it a great atmosphere.

Payment for entry to the gala will be taken at the entrance to the spectator gallery.  Spectator entry is £4.00 and this includes a programme.

Food Facilities

Hartsdown Leisure Centre has a small cafe, but we are unable to guarantee that this café will be open to the public for Saturday night galas.

Vending machines are available throughout the Leisure Centre.
